Why Use Different Modems for the Duo and Quattro Solo PRO Connect Kits that Support the USA?
All Duo and Quattro kits include high-performance LTE modems. The modems included with the USA-only variants of the Solo PRO Connect Duo and Solo PRO Connect Quattro kits are optimized for the USA carriers. If you are a user who lives in the USA and do not travel with your unit outside of the USA, these are highly recommended as the right solution.
The Solo PRO Connect Duo and Quattro kits that support the three worldwide regions (EU, Canada, and Traveler) are optimized for worldwide support, supporting the bands and connectivity to work in multiple countries.
Both modems provide high uplink performance for your LiveU Solo PRO. You should select the right kit based on where you will use the data and unit.
Conclusions
If you are a LiveU Solo user, the Solo PRO Connect Duo kit (previously called the Solo Connect 2 Modem Kit) is the right choice.
For Solo PRO users, select your starting kit based on your desired modem count (2 in Duo, 4 in Quattro) and your location (if you are a USA user who does not travel, purchase the USA-Only version, and if you are a user in another location or a user who travels with their unit, choose the worldwide variants).
