Some Wi-Fi networks, such as those at hotels, convention centers or airports, have a "landing page" which is a web page which includes some further steps you must take to join that network. The LiveU Solo cannot support joining a network that uses such landing pages.
However, it is possible for such networks to disable the landing page for specific physical devices, as identified by the device's MAC address - which is the hardware identifier of the Wi-Fi radio in the device. If you have access to this option (for instance, if you speak to the IT team at a venue you will be using), you can have them list the MAC address of your LiveU Solo so that it is not blocked by the landing page.
To find your unit's MAC address, use the 4 way button on the unit and the menu on the unit to go to Unit Info. Once there, use the down arrow to scroll down - here you can find the MAC address of both the LAN port and Wi-Fi radio should you need it.
