If you recently received an email from stripe.com, on behalf of "LiveU, Inc", updating you about your subscription, they are legitimate emails. We recently enabled many more emails from our billing service provider (Stripe), to keep you better informed about the state of your subscription.
Topics that you may receive emails on:
- When a new charge is coming up, for instance if you are a monthly subscriber, you will receive an email each month prior to the new charge on your payment method.
- When transitioning from the trial period (30 days), to your normal subscription, you will receive a special email for this event.
- If we have trouble charging your payment method.
A special note: For the email about transitioning from trial to regular subscription, our service provider does not differentiate between a service paid via credit card, or paid via a license key - so it may look like this transition is going to cause a charge, but it means against your license key if that was what you already used. It does not mean your card will be charged if you originally paid via a license key!
