You may have noticed your new LiveU Solo PRO includes an HDMI extension cable, sometimes called a "pigtail" cable, as well as the tension clip that also shipped with LiveU Solo.
This different cable is intended to help prevent wear and tear on your HDMI port on the Solo PRO unit, and prevent any drops or other mishaps from damaging the port.
Using Both
The ideal setup for both is to place the tension clip on a convenient strap - on your Solo PRO sleeve with shoulder strap, or similarly as pictured here, on your LiveU Solo Belt Pack. The tension clip should then hold the end of the extension cable, allowing the end that is plugged into the unit to remain plugged in through most circumstances.
When you need to unplug HDMI, you can just unplug from the extension cable, and re-plug in there.
