The Reserve Bank of India has passed new regulations concerning using credit card to pay for ongoing subscriptions. The impact of these changes is that customers located in India will now receive an email on your subscription renewal date, and the email will contain a link to pay that invoice.
If the invoice is not paid within 30 days of the renewal date, the subscription will be canceled.
In addition to renewals, first time subscribers will also receive a link via email, and need to use that link to complete the initial payment.
First Time Subscribers
Rather than complete your payment via credit card in a single step, on the Solo Portal, those customers with a billing address in India will now receive an email that contains instructions to complete the payment.
Once you complete the instructions sent to you via email, it takes 1 hour for the new subscription to be created, and then further time for the LiveU backend to update the status of your unit. Please leave at least 2 hours from when you complete the steps outlined in the email to when you need the LRT service on your LiveU Solo unit.
Monthly and Annual Renewals
On your renewal date, you will receive an email with the invoice for payment. The same email will contain instructions and a link to complete the payment.
