Solo PRO firmware 10.6.0.C3652.Gcff488934 includes the following features and bug fixes:
- Manual operator selection would sometimes get stuck: when using the feature on the Solo PRO unit to scan for a list of operators supported by the SIM, and connect to another operator, the unit would sometimes fail to return the list.
- Unit would not reconnect to wifi if that wifi network was lost: there was a scenario where a specific WiFi network may become suddenly unavailable (for example, the WiFi router is rebooted), and the Solo PRO would not reconnect to the network once it was again available
- Bad HDMI Input could cause a long reset: When the Solo PRO video input card had to recover from a bad HDMI signal, the recovery took longer than expected. Note, this fix improves the recovery time significantly, however, it does not change that the video card may need to reset after receiving bad HDMI signal for any reasons (including interference on the HDMI cable)
- 3G SDI Level A vs Level B: Solo PRO SDI would read audio incorrectly from 3G SDI Level B, resulting in no audio or distorted audio. Update: appears some devices, including some Sony cameras, are still having issues on level B specifically. We are investigating and will likely release a further version once we resolve this issue fully.
- Red border around preview when streaming: in some cases, the intended red border was not displayed around the preview window on the unit, when the unit is streaming.
- Behavior where unit temporarily reports "offline" immediately after setting a destination, or other action: some units, particularly those linked to specific accounts including accounts with many units, would temporarily show "offline" after trying to set a destination, instead of successfully setting the destiantion.
- Verizon first connection behavior was inconsistent: improvements have been made to how Verizon is initially connected on some modems, resulting in more consistent connections to the Verizon network.
